03/01/2024 – How do we prepare ourselvs to receive the month of Ramadan?

As the month of Ramadan approaches, we have to prepare our hearts to receive its blessing by reciting the Holy Quran, gathering the knowledge and Solidarity.

1- Reciting the Holy Quran:

Allah almighty linked the fasting of Ramadan with the Holy Quran where Allah almighty said: {The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for mankind and clear proofs for the guidance and the criterion (between right and wrong)}.

It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said: “The Messenger of Allah said: ‘Allah has His own people among mankind.’ They said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, who are they?’ He said: ‘The people of the Qur’an, the people of Allah and those who are closest to Him.'” Sunan Ibn Majah 215.

– The most broblem in Ramadan is exploiting time. So the best way is dividing the time across the day through the the time of the 5 prayers.

2- Assemblies of the knowledge. (the remembrance of God)

– Allah almighty said: {It is only those among His servants who have knowledge that fear Allah}.

– Allah almighty said: { and say: “My Lord! Increase me in knowledge}.

– The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “Any group of people that assemble in one of the Houses of Allah to recite the Book of Allah, learning and teaching it, tranquility will descend upon them, mercy will engulf them, angels will surround them and Allah will make mention of them to those (the angels) in His proximity.”

– The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “When you pass by the gardens of Paradise, them feast.” They said: “And what are the gardens of Paradise?” He said: “The circles of remembrance.”

3-Solidarity of the community in taking care of poor and needy.

– Allah almighty said: {And whosoever is saved from his own greed, such are they who will be the successful}.

– The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

– The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Two angels descend every morning, and one says: ‘O Allah, give him who spends something, in place of what he spends.’ The other one says: ‘O Allah, give destruction to him who withholds”. [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

** The scientific Miracle:

In versus: {And the sun runs on its fixed course for a term (appointed). That is the decree of the Almighty, the All-Knowing}. (Sûrat Yâ-Sîn-verse38)

The mean distance of the Sun from the Earth is approximately 149.6 million kilometers. At this average distance, light travels from the Sun to Earth in about 8 minutes and 19 seconds. The energy ofthis sunlight supports almost all life on Earth by photosynthesis, and drives Earth’s climate and weather. The enormous effect of the Sun on the Earth has been recognized since prehistoric times.

The scientists call it the solar apex and Allah Almighty says (the appointed term) also, there is another miracle as He Almighty says “the sun runs” not moves or walks which is a clear sign that the sun moves in high speed. Today, our scientists say that the Sun moves at an estimated speed of about 225 km per second (140 miles per second) in a nearly circular orbit.

Glory to Allah Almighty who says about that:”And say (O Muhammad ): “All the praises and thanks be to Allah. He will show you His Ayat (signs, in yourselves, and in the universeor punishments, etc.), and you shall recognize them. And your Lord is not unaware of what you do.” (Sûrat An-Naml-verse 93).
